    Alpha 31.0.0

    • The free extension is now open source, GPL-3.0, at github.com/Envxsion/nvx_session. It is the tree this build is compiled from, which means the claims made on this site about what the code does can be checked rather than taken.
    • A one-time card before your first sign-in inside a session, explaining that single sign-on logins can loop because an isolated session shows the provider only some of its cookies, and that the fix is to sign in fresh inside a session rather than copying an account into one. Dismissed once and not shown again.
    • The paid tier now has a seam in the free build, and the free build is provably on the free side of it. The manifest states nvx_tier free, no licence endpoint or verification key is included, the paid modules are inert stubs rather than locked code, and a pasted licence token is refused offline because there is no key present to check it against. Paid toggles are hidden in this build rather than shown disabled.
    • No change to isolation, fingerprint postures, storage handling or telemetry from Alpha 2.

    Alpha 21.0.0

    • Install events record correctly. The install signal used to fire before consent could exist, so it was always dropped and the install count read zero. It is now sent once, on first opt-in.
    • The daily active beat reports the peak of the day rather than a sample taken at the one cold moment when sessions and tabs both read zero.
    • The daily beat no longer triple-counts. A cold-start race could send up to three a day; it now sends one.
    • Three diagnostic error categories: a session exceeding its isolation rule budget, a sign-in loop that was released to stop it, and the browser’s own cookies reaching a managed tab. Each is a fixed category string carrying no host, no URL and no value, sent at most once per install per day.
    • Three new on-device storage keys supporting the above. They never leave the machine and are erased when you opt out.

    Alpha 11.0.0

    • First release. Per-tab cookie isolation through request-side substitution, so every tab is correct at the same time and nothing desyncs when you change focus.
    • Two fingerprint postures in the packaged build: Mirror, which fabricates nothing and is the default, and Standardize, with a consistency validator behind both. A third posture, Persona, is written and tested but is held out of packaged builds for now, so it is not in this download or any download yet.
    • Per-session localStorage and sessionStorage. IndexedDB use is detected and disclosed rather than silently shared.
    • Bulk move with undo, keyboard moves, right-click into a session, and the default-account hint.
    • One-switch pause, and per-site release for anything you want left alone.
    • Sign-in loop detection, which releases a site rather than retrying into a partial login.
    • Chromium and Opera GX, from one kernel with two network backends.
    • Opt-in anonymous telemetry, off by default.
