Help

Most problems have the same two answers: pause it, or release the site. Both are reversible and neither loses anything.

Troubleshooting

A site is behaving strangely
Pause the extension with the switch in the popup. The browser then behaves exactly as though it were not installed. If the problem goes away, release that one site instead of leaving everything paused.
A sign-in keeps looping
The extension detects this and releases the site on its own, because a partially written login is worse than none. If it happens repeatedly, release the site and sign in normally.
I want one site left alone entirely
Release it. Released sites use the browser's own cookies and are never touched, which is the right answer for banks and anything with hardware two-factor.
I was signed out somewhere unexpected
Federated providers can invalidate a session across devices if they see a partial login. Sign in again, and sign in fresh inside the session rather than importing an existing login.
Tabs lost their colours after a restart
Sessions are rebuilt when the browser wakes the extension. If colours do not return, open the popup once, which forces a reconcile.

Removing it

Uninstall it the way you would any extension. Everything it stored is in your browser profile and goes with it: sessions, their cookies, settings and the journal. Your browser's own cookies are untouched, because the extension only ever copied from them, so your normal logins are exactly as you left them.

If you had telemetry enabled and want the collected rows deleted as well, write to envxsion@proton.me with your installation identifier before uninstalling, since it is erased on the way out.
