The policy
Payments are not refundable except where the law requires or where Pro cannot be made to work for you. The free tier does the core job, keeping accounts apart per tab, with no time limit and no account, so it is the trial: please use it before you buy.
When Pro does not work for you
If Pro does not work on your browser, tell us through support. If we cannot fix it within 7 days of your report, we refund that payment in full.
This applies to a first purchase. Renewals are not refunded: cancelling stops the next one, and Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. A refund is given at most once per email address and per payment method.
Your rights under the law
Nothing here limits your rights under the consumer law where you live.
In Australia, the Australian Consumer Law gives you a remedy, including a refund, if Pro has a major failure. In the EU and the UK you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, unless you agreed at checkout that delivery starts immediately and acknowledged that this ends the right to withdraw. Where a law like these gives you a refund, you get it. Why checkout asks for that.
How to ask
Write to support@nvx.sh from the address you paid with, or reply to the receipt email for the payment. Say what is not working and on which browser, so it can be fixed first if it can be. If you write from a different address, include the email you paid with so the payment can be found.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used, through Polar, the merchant of record that handles payment and tax. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
What a refund does to the licence
Everything the free tier does carries on as before: your sessions and their cookies stay on your machine and are not touched.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the customer portal linked in your receipt email. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
